My 2005 Emmy Ballot

The Emmy ballots are due. Five nominees will be selected in each category but the rules have been changed so that you can vote for ten (and the top five vote-getters are nominated). This helps newer shows cross the threshold of consideration. Here's how I voted this year. Admittedly, it's a little esoteric, but I love "Battlestar Galactica" and I loved "Eyes" even if neither stands a chance.

  • 24
  • LOST
  • THIRD WATCH
  • WITHOUT A TRACE
  • CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
  • THE SHIELD
  • EYES
  • THE WEST WING
  • BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
  • SIX FEET UNDER
Here's my "Honorable Mention" of shows that I watched this year, and definitely think are of sufficient quality that they could easily be nominated.
  • Boston Legal
  • Grey's Anatomy
  • House
  • Numb3rs
  • Everwood
  • Deadwood
  • CSI: Miami
  • Alias

Now, if we're only talking about a prediction, these are the shows I think will be nominated:

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
  • Lost
  • Six Feet Under
  • Grey's Anatomy
  • 24

As Dennis Miller always said, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
